The Young Women’s Financial Network (YWFN) is a not-for-profit organization. Our objective is to present an innovative program to educate young women in the area of finance. Open to young women from ages
14-18, students join a two-year program. A one-week course is held each summer. Having completed Part I of the program, participants can then proceed to Part II of the program the following summer.

"Our goal is to create a community of financially astute women who will then empower future generations."

SUMMER WORKSHOPS TO PREPARE YOUNG WOMEN FOR FINANCIAL SUCCESS:

At YWFN Summer Financial Workshops you will learn:

This fun hands-on program includes trips to financial institutions, and to a bank/credit union where participants will be provided with an opportunity to open a savings account with a $5.00 donation. Additionally participants will visit a car dealer and learn important financial information from business and
financial professionals. The Young Women's Financial Network's mission is to ensure that every participant gains a sound education in personal finance - one that will benefit her for years to come.

PREPARE YOUR DAUGHTER FOR FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE

Did you know that according to the National Endowment for Financial
Education, last year alone, American teenagers spent over $172 billion - a staggering figure! Is it not imperative then that we teach young women sound fiscal habits of how to manage their money and how to become financially responsible?

"I learned about interest rates, how credit cards are targeted toward teens, how to read the fine print, the role of money in society and much more. I am much more aware of financial information. Excellent workshops."
